Throughout your expedition, your Expedition Team will guide you in a variety of activities on board and during landings.
Get close to nature
Go on landings and hikes ashore one of the most remote places in the world. Other activites include small boat cruising. See icebergs up close and look out for the incredible wildlife.
At sea, the Expedition Team will keep you busy with lectures on history, biology, geography and more. Learn about photography with our experts, or join the Explorer Science programme and contribute to scientific research.
The landscape will leave you speechless. You might see polar bears out hunting, whales breaching, or walruses by the shore. That's why we take care of the wildlife habitats and remote communities you'll visit with us.
Be an ambassador
Take part in beach cleanings, meet the locals and hear their stories. Learn more about climate change during lectures – join us and become an ambassador for the Northwest Passage.
Visit incredible destinations
On your cruise through the Northwest Passage, you'll visit highlights and rarely-visited destinations, including Gjøa Haven, Beechey Island and Pond Inlet.
You will receive a complimentary Helly Hansen expedition jacket and a re-usable aluminum water bottle. The wind and water-resistant jacket is developed by and for explorers, available in sizes from 2XS to 5XL.
The equipment you need
You can borrow boots, trekking poles, and all equipment needed for inclusive and optional activities free of charge.
In addition to your “ordinary” packing list (toiletries and necessary basic clothes), we recommend a few more items for your expedition...
