Our tour begins with a drive past Lisera and El Laucho beaches continuing into the Azapa Valley. Seen in the distance from the Azapa Valley are several Geoglyphs, the unique drawings of human and animal forms created by early indigenous peoples by scratching the salty surface of the brightly colored rocks. A brief photo stop of replica geoglyphs will be made.   

Next, we will continue on to the San Miguel de Azapa Archaeological and Anthropological Museum known for its collection of artifacts and remains of the Chinchorro people dating to 6,000-8,000 BC.  Then we will travel to visit the Morro de Arica Hill where we will see the same panoramic view that the Chilean military used to its advantage during the War of the Pacific.  Before returning to the pier, we will stop at the Colon Square for a visit of San Marcos Cathedral, a 19th-century Gothic edifice designed by Gustave Eiffel.
