Natural wonders lining up   

The landscape of Snaefellsnes is characterised by sandy beaches, rocky shorelines and jagged mountains. We stop at Djúpalónssandur, Lóndrangar, and Arnarstapi, which has a harbour that many consider the most beautiful in Iceland. As we follow the line of the cliffs, you can explore and photograph one of Iceland's largest seabird colonies up close. 

Practical Information:

  • Language: English
  • Remarks: Approximately 3h total driving time and an optional 0h45 walk. Dress according to local weather conditions with good footwear (closed toe recommended) with rubber or non-slip soles
  • Walking information: All walking is optional and most sites can be viewed through the motor coach windows. There are no actual steps at most stops, but some inclines do exist. Surface underfoot is grass/mud/gravel and there are rough pathways throughout. Anyone with mobility challenges is kindly asked to travel in the company of an able-bodied care provider or request assistance from the ship.
